Kept it as I saw a thread saying intel doesn't accept an RMA if you don't have the CPU cooler.

Tbf - How many times have you lot had an Intel chip turn faulty by its own means.
If it's dead on arrival, you surely wouldnt have thrown the box and cooler away that early - and I've never known a cpu to just suddenly go wrong - unless the user was to blame

My 2500k's stock cooler is rotting in the box :P
Sold my old Phenom II X4 cooler to a friend.

I would say keep it. You may need it if the h100 dies. Mine is in the box in-case I need it.

Stuck my 2600k stock cooler on my sons i3 2120 (chip only buy off ebay)build cheap o total result , no cooler to buy
