Expect Ray Tracing graphics cards from AMD in 2020

It's coming, Lisa Su said it herself.

Read more about AMD's plans to release raytracing graphics cards this year.

That's the cost of innovation. If things start moving quickly, it doesn't take long for new hardware to become obsolete.

I'm not saying that your RX 5700 will become a bad graphics card anytime soon. It's just that if AMD actually starts to properly compete with Nvidia, the price/performance ratio of new cards will start to get a lot better.

For reference, consider AMD's 4-core i7-7700K and Intel's 6-core i7-8700K. Released within a year of each other, and the i7-8700k released at basically the same price with higher clock and 50% more cores.

I want AMD to start pushing Nvidia Ryzen style, but that will force more frequent GPU upgrades.

RT AMD cards will not cost as little as a 5700, Expect easily double.

Same here! But i dont mind really..It will be long until we start seeing (if any)heavy price drops(bear in mind that graphics ram prices are going to be higher in 2020 - https://www.dramexchange.com/WeeklyR...st/2/9493.html )
And also if you keep waiting for the next best model...there will always be a new model coming out...and another one...
