That looks amazing. To be honest I know that as Fiat owns Chrysler they'd probably use the 300c chassis.

-edit- yeah that sounds big but that car gives off a really strong Dodge Charger/Muscle car vibe.

I don't know about the current 300C but the previous one was based on the E-Class platform, it's monumentally big and unsuited to being a euro sports hatch.

It looks fan made to me, but if Fiat were mad enough to even go there surely it would be Gulietta/Dodge Dart/Chrysler 200 based.

Remember the Dodge Charger was based on the 300c platform as well. Good point about the Dart though. I honestly just think the proportions of that car makes me think big car, not so much hatchback.

I guess it could also be based on the Fiat Bravo platform, as all lancia products are currently based on Fiats (the Smallest lancia they sell is a tarted up Fiat 500).

-edit- after further googling I've found that Lancia already sell a rebadged 300c called the Thelma, which is the laziest rebadging of a car I've seen in a while.

vs Chrysler 300c

The Thelma looks to be a SRT 300c without the engine.

-edit- I've always quite liked the 300c. They're outdated but a nice alternative to the normal lux saloon.

Dropped my car off at the mechanics house this morning for him to take to his garage (quite a way from me). After the car almost killed him by swerving left on the way over which i thought was caused by the rear trailing arm bearings but it turns out the lower control arm ball joint on the passenger side is completely broken so another 100 quid to sort that then a 170 quid axle that i got for not much reason

One of my rear shocks is creaking - any ideas of the probable cause?

Apparently it could be due to the emergency brake cable..

If a shock is creaking then it need replacing, if its the handbrake, then the cable needs adjusting or shoes or pads need doing.

All in all not a bad job, just so you know if your shock is creaking it would be doing 100% of the time, if its the brakes then itll be when you engage and disengage the handbrake
