noblechairs releases its DOOM Edition HERO Gaming Chair

Rip and tear on the back of that chair, yeah it will rip and tear apart when the chinesium in it fails as it does with so many of these things.

They use the exact same wheel base, Chair base, Hinge and general back as Corsairs and Corsair gets theirs from some crappy factory in China for pennies, I'd personally avoid.

Agreed.

I tried one of the real leather variants when they were released.

For £500 the QC was incredibly bad.

There were no pre-drilled holes in the back-rest for attach the the base. The backrest was wonky when it was attached to the base, there was stitching lose in multiple areas and the arms felt incredibly plasticity and cheap.

Won't touch them with a barge pole now.

Looked good though, lol.

I think this "exact same" terminology has to stop.

Sorry Dice, but I cant disagree more. The Corsair T1 base is nothing remotely similar to my Noble Epic. Not even sure how you can compare the two.

The T1 looks incredibly thin and flimsy. The Epic has a more robust base.

So lets get the facts straight. They do NOT all use the same cheap chair base. Even the wheel base is completely different.

I get you guys don't like gaming chairs, but spreading false info does need to stop.

False info ? I didn't mention the T1... The T2, Which I had, Not the cheaper T1 which is quite different, Is nigh on identical to the NC Epic, Same loops, Same material, Minus the green bands which are just black on the Noble, Same base, Same hinge, Same nuts and bolts, Same mounting positions etc...

I wouldn't be so highly against them if the prices weren't so ludicrous, These things should be half the price they are currently.

Personally I tried the ICON Black Edition and for the price it was horrible. The fact that you can’t tilt the seat itself, which is a feature that many, cheaper, chairs even have and that is saying something about these chairs.
