Shuttle AN50R assitance required

Ok guys, I've got everything installed, it's running ok - it's already surpassed my best overclock with the MSI mobo, without even trying really, so thats quite good. I'm at 230FSB (2.3ghz). Now, there are a lot more options with this motherboard and I'm not really sure what to play with next.

I'm using the Mach II and PC3200 OCZ LE memory which is supposed to rock.

What voltages are safe?

What multiplier should I use?

What memory settings do I use?

Answers on a postcard please..

Hi m8.

Firstly, I thought that the multipliers were locked on the AMD's as with the Intel's.

I would think that they would handle the amount of voltage that the P4 will so I'd stick with 1.75. Although it might be more, I wouldn't want to risk the electromigration probs.

Well this one is unlocked down, if you follow. I didnt know that about the volts. It's a 225FSB 1:1. Not bad for PC3200 memory.

The Shuttle is definitely the motherboard for A64's at present. I found it very stable straight out of the box, but I've decided that A64's arent for me. I guess I'm an Intel man deep down, so until the 53 is reviewed in depth I'll stick to my guns and play some more with Intel.

All work and no play

Phil

Your business seems to involve a lot of 'playing'. Is this a 2nd childhood?

Does anyone ever use their 'hot' (maybe cold) PCs to do anything other than see how fast they are?

LOL!!

I guess "playing" is a figure of speech. I use my four pcs constantly, one is home to my webcart software and the constant modification it requires - one is home to all my wifey's stuff - my laptop is my "instant messenger" and my Mach II is my play thing.
