That sucks . I guess you have to take the bad with the good. Hoping things improve for ya!

I've been quite lucky with the core 18s and 17s (touch wood).

Very nice. Your PPD's been pretty great since you switched to a 960

Will core 15 ever go away?

Bought AMD stuff for quite awhile just to stay away from core 15, but they sure seem to think my 970 should run core 15, and well I don't think it should

Found a 2 card AMD 7970 machine not running this morning Seems that it lost one of the cards, after reseating cards and connectors and a re-install of drivers all is running again. Just don't know long it was down at a 350K PPD loss

That sucks. Good thing you found the cause, although I would still be a little worried about the card that went offline for a bit.

More than likely a motherboard fail as after a reboot Win only showed one card, took the reseat of card to find it again. Mobo is an an old Asus Maximus skt 775, enough said....

Hi guys, just to let you know that I'm leaving the fold temporarily.

There have been a few issues with my folding rig & where its located - hopefully I'll be back with some better hardware and it'll have a permanent home...
