MSI Z97 Gaming 7 and a M.2 SSD

Hi Guys,

I currently own a MSI Z97 Gaming 7 motherboard. I am looking at getting a M.2 SSD. Specifically the Samsung 850 Evo. I went to MSI's website to check the compatibility but I couldn't find it on their list. I would like to know if anyone here has used these specific parts together? Do they work? What if any issues did you encounter? Or anybody else that's knowledgeable on the subject to give me some advice please.

Just a side note: I want to use it to install my OS (Win 10 Home 64bit) on so it has to be bootable as well

TIA
