She's already denied it on Twitter.

Would be cool if all the weirdos that come up with these rumours were publicly shamed.

Raja said the same, took a sabbatical and the next we heard he was at Intel.

Moral of this story? Don't trust any one.

I hope this isn't true but money talks and all that.

Well she already confirmed it was a made up story so you got your wish.

So much for integrity. Literally just goes to prove that WCCFTECH is so unreliable and never worth as a news source. The fact that their integrity is so low to claim an "exclusive" article piece on a lie, just discredits anything they say from here on out.

This is awful news, I remember the previous two CEO's were completely incompetent. They thought they could sit on there current CPU and GPU architectures and not put in R&D for future architectures/products the first hack jobs of theirs was the 290x which was just a bigger 7970 than the Fury X which was just an even larger 7970, They essentially handed the GPU lead to Nvidia It's hard to say if AMD will ever sit on the top of the GPU charts again. They were going the way of Konami and believed they could just create embedded devices on there current devices forever(casino machines amongst other stupidity).

Lisa Su has done amazingly on the business side of things but I don't think you can blame previous CEOs for not trying. Bulldozer and GCN were both super ambitious, innovative architectures, they were just misguided with how the software world would go in the mid term, obviously much more so with Bulldozer, GCN managed to make up for it and kinda force the software side with all the design wins. Hawaii was AMDs co-part to GK110(Titan/780Ti) and came while NVidia was also about to refresh Kepler with the rest of the 700 series, while Fury X was their first modern interposer & HBM design which packed a lot of new tech some of which paid the way for Epyc/Threadripper/Ryzen3000.

Though NVidia really hit a gold mine when they went more for mobile and got bucket loads of efficiency with Maxwell's tile based rendering and streamlined pipeline, while you could say one of AMDs biggest past mistakes was selling off ATIs mobile graphics division to Qualcomm(Which led to Adreno).

You seem to have misunderstood my post dude.

I said that Raja denied everything and even posted on twitter saying he was taking a sabbatical, before leaving and going to Intel. IE - he was thinking of himself and not being straight.

So she would do the same thing. That's how life works. We go through it lying.

Not that I'm saying it's not balls, but even if it's not she would never tell any one any way.

Only time will tell if this is BS.

Nah this is actually what the companies have to do to ensure they're within talent poaching regulations, some US states in particular have quite fiddly legislation around it, so when an employee is being kinda respectfully pushed as was the case with Raja, or they plan to leave well in advance and let both companies know well in advance, they're given the chance to avoid possible accusations of "tortious interference" towards either company from the DOJ. Legislation makes it more or less impossible for any of these big talent transfers to be rushed or done in secret as they'll all be overseen by regulators to ensure nothing nefarious is happening IP or competition wise.
