Raptr is awful. Atleast they've not done stupid stuff like store important information in plaintext...

Who even uses that?

I have yet to hear anyone give positive feedback on that software. Doesnt it come with AMD catalyst too these days?

It does, atleast for me... once I downloaded the latest drivers for my 6950 few days ago, it got installed. Haven't used it or even opened it though, as I don't like crappy software like that.

I want to keep things as simple as possible, and not add up unesseccary programs, that I won't even use.
I downloaded the driver for my graphics card, not some ty program lol.
I'd prefer if they had as an alternative selection instead of forcing people to installing it with the drivers.

The same goes for Steam and Origin in my opinions... dumb ass programs, why not do like the good old days, where you started the game and logged in through the game and not some PC based program AND browser based login lol.

I personally things are going in the more "confusing" direction, rather the "plain and straight forward" direction...

That's just me though...

Unless something changed from the Omega driver release you can choose to not install Raptr with the driver or Gaming Evolve. Just don't click Express Install, go the custom install route and you can choose what do you want to install.

Always custom install when you want to install something.
