Cooler Master SickleFlow LED question

Hey guys! I need some help here, I am getting a new pc where the theme is black and red. So I looked at the Cooler Master SickleFlow red led ones, I really like them and they are not to expensive, BUT my problem is I am not sure if you are able to turn of the red LED for when I want to sleep and such. Any suggestion?

Any help is help
Thanks!

i had the blue ones, short answer is no, you can't turn off the leds.
Unless you cut the led wires anyway

Edit; Ninja'd

Sickleflows really aren't the best fans and they're quite loud.

On topic; Mine can but they're a bit different from the original ones (Stock Storm Trooper fans). From some quick Googling I don't think the actual Sickleflows can.

I am actually getting the Storm Trooper case aswell, but I need more fans than what it comes with. Do you know if you can buy more of the ones it has?

Yeah, don't buy Coolermaster fans - they're terrible.

Bitfenix Spectres can turn off if you fancy having a go at wiring to a push to break button.

The spectres have a 2 pin end to them:

When connected, the LED is on, when you take the connector off, the LEDs turn off.
You can then buy the Hydra Pro:
http://www.bitfenix.com/global/en/pr...ies/hydra-pro/
Which connects to all of the fans and through the button on the front it allows you to turn the LEDs on and off.
