New Build

Hi Guys,

Recently just built myself a new rig so thought I would share some pics

My main aim with this was to build a gaming machine, that can double as a quiet work station and will last me for the next few years (at least). From using it for a few weeks I can say I'm more than happy with the results (especially compared to my old rig which sounded like a hovercraft under my desk!)

Specs:
CPU - Intel Core I5 4690K @ 3.5 (stock)
Motherboard - Asus Z97-P
Memory - 16GB Corsair Vengence DDR3 @ 1600MHz
PSU - Seasonic M12 ii 520W
Cooler - be quiet! Dark Rock Advanced
Case - Fractal Design Define R5
Drives:
2 x Crucial MX100 512GB SSD
1 x Corsair Neutron 240GB SSD

Pics below:

I'm not normally someone who normally cable manages but I made an attempt here

Thanks for looking and if you have any questions or suggestions for the future, just post below.

Nice build dude and I especially like the Neutron SSD mounted onto the Corsair SSD bracket and having it show like that. Well done!

Cheers dude, it took me a while to think of a place to mount it. I was originally going to use the optical drive bay but thought I might as well use some of that space where the HDD cages once existed!

Ya i gotta agree with that SSD mount at the bottom. Pretty clever and it looks good! Nice build and for someone who isn't much for cable management, you did quite well

Haha, absolutely dude, well done! ... Haha, gave me some thoughts and inspiration for some of that kind of "modding" hehe

If there was a "thumbs up" smiley, it would've gone in here!
