Der8auer - Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce + 9900K

Afternoon All,

Just watched the latest video from Der8auer , is it just me or does it seem like he deliberately fails to mention CPU Temps ?

He goes into to great detail but never once mentions the cpu temps which I find a little strange.

A comment in the video mentions this and his response is that temp depends on the CPU which I agree with but its no more than 10c difference between cpu's when running at same volts.

Anyways, just wondered what you guys thought ?

Wow this board is nice. I love the 24pin ATX connector shroud. My Rog board has 90degree rotated pins too, but the ATX connector placement makes it so awkward for 80% of cases that you cant train the cables nicely. This one is placed higher up making it perfect.

Sexy as hell, but crazy expensive. New Egg has that bundle listed for $2100CDN. Eeek!

You can't deny the sexiness, nor the performance. I think that is *the* nicest motherboard / monoblock combo I've ever seen, judging by the pics. If something like that comes out for Ryzen 3 with a cheaper price tag, I'm on that like a fat kid on cake!

Yep, I agree with you all on the beauty of this board but I cant help thinking why he didnt mention cpu temps whilst running 5.1ghz @ 1.36v ....

Because he works for Caseking, which means it's more an advert. One trick of advertising, don't show anything negative.

They never mentioned if the CPU was delidded or not, so I'm assuming not, and the temps probably suck. It would be a shame to go through all that binning trouble and not delid the thing though.
