What about above though? I’ve personally never tried anything higher than 144Hz. Is 165Hz or even 240Hz noticeable?...

It depends on the game but I can "feel" a difference to around 120Hz, Anything above that and for me at least it's diminishing returns.

From 60Hz to 120Hz is a Huuuge difference. Everyone notises that. Everything above that deppends from person to person. I can notice 144Hz, but 165Hz feels the same. Also the higher you go with refresh rate the difference between frames get smaller. It is just a few ms and it is almost impossible to notice.
