Manufacturers should treat customers in all areas the same.

The biggest joke for me is that to be able to buy the Kingpin 3090 you need to be an Elite member of the EVGA forums which is obtainable by buying their GPUs. I am an Elite member and have bought more GPUs from them than nearly any other forum member (30+) yet I still can not buy a Kingpin because I live in Europe.
Unless you are planning on doing LN2 which it's designed for there's likely only a small perf difference between it and another high end 3090 like the Strix OC, Auros Extreme etc... when using it in its stock config.

If you have access to 1 of the high end last gen cards, Which you do, There's very little reason to get flustered over the new cards, By the time stock issues get resolved we will possibly be well into Q3 2021 and Nvidia's 4000 series will be close to release anyway.

Ahh, OK, I didn't realise that.

The Kingpin model isn't just for LN2 though. People bought them as a collector's item or to have the best GPU of each generation, whether for water, air, or LN2. And if you can't get that collector's item because of poor distribution, that sucks. Certain countries just don't see proper distribution. And for a large corporation, that shouldn't be happening in my opinion.

The Kingpin was the only custom GPU at the time I bought it to have a dual rad. The rest all had a single, which IMO isn't enough for low temp operation and high clocks.

I wouldn't have dreamed of buying one if I didn't have the money fall in my lap..

What I plan to do with it is not the point.

EVGA neglecting most of it customers worldwide by giving preferential treatment to just North America is the point.

Having owned several Kingpin cards their biggest advantage is for gaming where they run very cool and quiet. LN2 use is not a major selling point as in their stock configuration they still need modifying and I also think that Vince grabs the best cores for himself anyway.

If the Kingpin was a serious LN2 card it would come as just a bare PCB with an appropriate BIOS for extreme benching which it does not have.

The real funny part about this is for some benches like Firestrike the 6900 XT is the card to use as it totally smashes anything a LN2 cooled 3090 Kingpin can do and that is using the standard air cooler lol.

Just the way things are at the moment, Their biggest customer base is the US by a fairly huge margin so it makes sense at the moment to concentrate stock there.

TBH Kaap you could buy one from the USA and have it shipped over. Pretty sure they honour the warranty.

3090s are like rocking horse crap as it is. Specially picked binned ones? haha yeah right. There's no wonder we are not getting them here. I doubt many in the USA are getting them either.

Kingpin 3090 does not seem to be that good anyway. I was reading a thread on the EVGA forums about a regular member who was trying to wring every bit of performance out of one with help from Vince and even access to LN2 Bios. I then had a quick look on the OcUK benching threads and one of the guys there got near enough the same result using an ordinary watercooled card lol.

Not these days.

Asia is the biggest customer base these days.

I think that is more down to Samsung dies tbh. If that's the case I would just buy one with a water cooler on.
