Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 and Asus P5W

well going threw the old pc parts i had kicking around and found 2 Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs and 2 Asus P5W motherboards but thing is do they have any use anymore? as they are rather old

CEX sell them ATM, £2.25. Motherboards are going to be tricky to source.

If you’re looking to build an audio PC where DSP Acceleration cards/racks do the number crunching, Wolfdale CPUs have plenty of juice for streamimg and lower latency, especially if XP64 is used.
Depends what your needs are.
But even now with Coffee Lake CPUs Audio buffs with DSP Accelerators are relieved for thei i3 8350k and prefer less cores no frills real time Latency.
