Question Upgrading from LG TV, What Monitor to get?

Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade my LG Flatron TV/Monitor to something that is better for gaming.

I'm looking to spend around £230 I am not looking for anything like 4k or even 1440p as I only have a 7950 but a 1080P monitor around 24" would be good I would like an IPS Panel and hopefully I can get a 120hz with a low response time. If there is a good one cheaper than £230 I would consider two of them.

I cant find anything I think is amazing yet.

does any one have any advice or recommendations?

Thanks!

There is the dell U2414H (24" 1080p) and U2515H (25" 1440p) just either side of your budget, definitely both worth taking a look at and really striking in person.

Found this offer today. An aoc 24" 144hz panel for £164.99. Freesync comparable too, though sadly your hd7950 isn't.

I think this monitor is a good option here.

I've found some 29" ultra wide monitors that taken my interest,
I know
I Know my card would struggle with this gaming resolution but i'm looking to upgrade my card anyway, is there anything else better than this?

That monitor only has a freesync range of 48Hz to 75Hz, which isn't that wide.

I would advise a screen with a wider freesync range that can use LFC (Low framerate compensation), so the effective freesync range is 1-max refresh.

Can't you flash the 7950 to a 280?
