Well... how's everyone's lifting going?

With me, I'm now down to 75kg bodyweight, my abs are really starting to show now. I've never been this lean before, which is pretty damn cool.

I've been on a very low carb diet for the last few months. I said I'd try it as an experiment after the Christmas, and I'm surprised at how effective it's been at losing bodyfat. Basically every meal for me is Meat/Fish or Organ Meat, with Steamed or Fermented Vegetables, and a Fat source like Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Beef Tallow or Lard.

I estimate close to 10% now for myself.

My one rep maxes PBs are in the OP, I haven't really been shooting for one rep maxes for a long time though. My workouts these days are more bodybuilding type workouts. I still squat and deadlift for the back and legs, but I do more reps (3x5) at the moment.

Wow those numbers are insane for 75kg, how tall are you if you don't mind me asking? You should think about entering competitions because 190kg deadlift at 75kg is pretty insane especially at 10% BF...

I'm 1.73m, or about 5'8''. I'm not particularly tall, I never have been, nor was I ever going to be.

Thanks for compliment, although I think you're giving me too much credit.

It's been nearly two years since I pulled 190kg, I haven't tried to best it since. In fact I'm only back to deadlifting again regularly in the last month or so. You see, I gave myself a muscle imbalance in my legs from doing One Legged Bulgarian squats and using different form on both sides - let that be a lesson to anyone, make damn full sure you use the same form on both sides if you work out one leg (or any other body part) at a time.

I used to get lower back pain as a result of an uneven load when I was deadlifting, so I cut them out to rectify the imbalance. I'm in the process of getting my deadlift back where it used to be. I just did 140kg for a set of four in the gym over the weekend. Back when I hit the PB I used to deadlift 160kg for a set of 5.

Also that squat figure of 130kg wasn't done to parallel either, and that's over 2 years ago now I'd say, but I did in the last few weeks squat 120kg well below parallel, but only for a single rep though.

Resurrecting this thread for some advice.

Anychance anyone has run into shoulder troubles whilst doing weights above shoulder?
I get this horrible pain in the centre back of my shoulder and it completely shuts me down, been going to gym for 2 months for 4 days a week without fail and this has suddenly popped up.

You've likely just pulled it dude, try and do some light work and mobility work.

Bodybuilding though, thats the past. I'm currently the 6th place competitor in the UK for Battle of the Beasts. (CrossFit)

Is everyone lifting?

Me, I've gotten to the stage now where I'm doing my pullups weighted with an extra 20kg. It's kind of cool when your bodyweight just isn't enough for you anymore.

Yep

I broke my personal record on the Thursday just gone, Deadlift 5x5 with 200KG, Taken me a few years to work up to that but I felt beastly afterwards
