Liking the design of the Strix, hopefully when I get my next GPU, Late 2019, I hope they close up the sides of the Strix 3080 Ti so no fins or heat pipes are visible.

The design looks exactly the same? I like the visible heatsinks, gives it a raw, industrial look - but taste differs

With this one it looks like they've closed up the sides a bit more and made it a bit chunkier looking.

Yeah and it just looks chunkier in general IMO.

it dose look like it has a large heat sink on this , and with what look's like a fan change , dose this mean its more power hungry and needs a more aggressive cooling solution

2.5/3 slot coolers seem more like a trend than a necessity (EVGA did fine with dual slot cards). Or it's it's a better be safe than sorry thing.

Gotta admit all these leaks are getting me kinda excited about this launch. Really like that Strix too. I'm fast becoming a big fan of anything with the name Strix on it. Asus is really bringing it with that line.
