bokbchoy - What is your idle temp @ 4.2? TIM that we used on any of our coolers are one of the best one in the market, thus, changing TIM will not be big of a help, unless of course when you re seat the pump, then you need to re apply an after market TIM.

You said that you've ran the fans in performance mode, what rpm were they running at? Your pump's rpm is where would expect it, so next thing I'd check is the contact between your coldplate and CPU, make sure it's properly seated with good contact.

Its massive on the H100i not just a thin piece like on a water block or other heatsink. You actually cant mount it with it on.

Yes you can't install cooler with that. But I keep that part to cover block from scratch and dust when change paste and clean with Artic Cleaner. That is very useful than.

I have similar problem... Not sure if i should make another topic on it.
4.3GHz on ~1.25V and 100*C

AX850, MSI Z77A-GD55, 2x4GB 2000Mhz RAM i5 3750k, HD7950

Just i can add that i had similar temps with simple £15 air cooler (Xigmatek Thors Hammer) and it was quieter than this and 5 times cheaper.

Bracket fitted correct side, tried to change thermal compound to MX-2, pump RPM normal (2200-2300) not really sure what else i can do about it... Maybe it is faulty?

Any suggestions?

Your pump rpm is where it should be at, but do you know if its actually working? meaning, is there a slight vibration on the pump? just an indication that it's actually pumping water.

What is your ambient and idle temp btw?

I can't really tell if the is any vibration - I do not feel anything (might be just me).

Ambient temp is 20-21*C and idle between 25-35*C

Just want to point out that sometimes using chrome temp spikes to ~ 50*C. I'm not sure if that's something normal or not...

Idle looks good, I'm pretty sure pump is working and functioning within spec with those temps. I don't think the cooler is faulty - just your load temps on the high side and maybe because of your CPU being overclocked.

I found the reason for all those temps. It was the CPU itself. Swapped to other one and everything is OK now.

4.7 GHz with 1.36V idles at ~40*C, ~90*C under prime and ~70*C while gaming.

Fans are set from ~550(lowest possible) to 1800 RPM max. Ambient 21*C.

Thank you for the support.
