I dislike the red strip but other than that it looks to be a very nice screen

I have little experience with AOC, but I just picked up a pair of their Agon ag352ucg monitors, and aside from bad backlight bleed that you only notice when booting, they're very nice screens.

I agree, don’t understand why companies still do this... it ruins the monitor when doing red touches. Go RGB instead and let the user decide.

Have you tried with a dark/black background?... Cause that often shows it as well, like a dark game or dark scene in a movie.

The darkest thing I've seen on it so far was Elite Dangerous (because space is black). I don't notice the bleeding then. I have watched some movies, and you can see it a little on the black bars, but you have to look for it. Not bad at all IMO, for 100hz G-stink panels and decent colors.

Doubtful it'll be 30-144. But at 1080p it should be fine for the average person
