The fact that it specifically states support for passive X570 boards, I reckon it will be a full set of refresh boards with the chipset on a different manufacturing node to the original X570s

i think you will be correct the fans are horrid people go to a lot of effort deciding what goes in their pc & those cheap looking nasty fans got tacked on giving no choice
