I have a pair of Ikea Malm desks with a pull-out section making them L shaped, they are pretty tough and I even now have my HOTAS stick and throttle bolted through them for hefty Elite: Dangerous sessions. Not great as a corner desk because of the difference in heights, but very versatile.

This is an old picture of my set up, I've changed pretty much all of it now but my desk is a complete mess right now!

My "desk" is Ikea Linnmon black-brown table tops 120x60 and 100x60 arranged in an L and fixed together beneath, with Ikea Adils legs.
Also have a monitor stand made from Ikea Jarpen shelf in matching colour with Capita 8cm legs.

I have seen people complaining about the wider Linnmon sagging over time but can't say it's anything I've personally noticed (and probably wouldn't get with the monitor stand distributing the weight over a wider area)

Judging by TTL's post I think we possibly have the same ones (I've touched mine up with marker pen too ) and I'm also using a large OCUK deskmat to protect beneath the kb+m
