jesus christ, I currently have one hell of a pump, its been quite some time since it felt this good :P yesterday I ate very little in the morning due to work and then pigged out in the evening with duck breast and potatoes, so quite healthy stuff (although had some baci cake for desert )

Training consisted of two sets of 25 reps each of incline bench at 60kg and 5 sets of 8 reps of dumbell curls with 25/32kg...

Managed a few 120kg squats today well below parallel, over 1.5 times my bodyweight, a new best for me.

I'd be laughed at if I ever tried competing, but it's nice to make some progress all the same.

Note to self, don't try and and finish a 10K race when you feel your hamstring tear at the 3km mark. Did this Sept. 14th and still not healed. Plus side, put the running on the backburner and started back at the weights again. Its been 8years since Ive done anything steady. 3 weeks back bench went up 40kg in 2 weeks and doubled weight on all arm exercises. Shoulders are holding up and starting to not hurt as bad anymore. Feels good to be able to train without pain (except for legs still obviously).

As of a few days ago I am no longer just a PT but now I'm also a sports nutritionist
Took a while but it's worth it and that does not mean people can message me at 2am asking for a full meal plan

No, but they will bother you in the grocery stores when they find out, and go through your basket looking at what you are buying, that is always my favorite, especially on a cheat day, the look on their faces when they see what I am getting on cheat days, lol.

My cheat days are surprisingly small, I'm talking a box of oreos 4x4 packet and a large glass of low fat milk, That is literally my cheat day

I'm becoming lazy since I've started bulking, I'm being constantly sleepy at school and missing lectures to go sleep at home, I've dropped from working out 6 times a week to 3 times, I've been stopping in the middle of workouts cause I'm too bored/tired or don't feel like it, I don't really know whats happening :/

It's called slump, Everyone goes through it as enthusiasm starts to lower, You have to push through it

Competing isn't about other people, its about beating your last PR. People at meets will encourage you and offer you advices rather than berate you. Admittedly you will get the odd d!ck, but powerlifters are generally humble people. Unlike the majority of people who are into bodybuilding to fuel their superficial ego.
