This just saved me a good chunk of change, I was about to pull the trigger on the Strix F model. Thank you Tom.

A " no bull crap" review....the marks of a honest reviewer. Saw your video about it as well and 100% agree with you.

Well done. Asus needs to smarten up.

Usually I would be all over Asus like a rash. However, I am going to cut them some slack. Intel has rushed the effing balls off of this release in desperation and I can understand why Asus may feel rather disillusioned by the whole affair. They didn't sound too happy with Intel in the interview I read just last week. Far from happy...

To add. Who in their right mind is going to buy a motherboard now for a vaporware CPU any way? I guess Asus had to come to market with something (because otherwise they would lose sales to every one else) but yeah, CPU you can't buy is CPU you can't buy.

Any reasonable reviewer would do that. Check if the fixed BIOS solves the issue, and then put an update under the article.

But it's not there... I guess rants get more clicks?

This isn't the right forum if you want to run into click farming Youtubers.

Though apparently the vdroop issue is fixed for boards with enough power phases to accommodate that.

Ive just not had a chance to rebuild it and recheck it - Ive been working on the new reviews not going back and doing the old ones.
