Upgraded CHG70. I own a C27HG70 and is a good monitor, great colors, ok build quality (some issues), impressive HDR for the price, though VA typical smearing, contrast lacks behind OLED, but okay.
Doesn't mean the monitor supports it. It may be apart of the DP protocol buts it's not a required feature which means the scalar may not support it to keep costs down. Which means they could be defaulting to 4:2:2.
I would have liked DP2.0 but we won't be seeing anything with that until at earliest Q1 2021 but more likely after that.
Alternatively they could have gone for HDMI 2.1 but that would add costs too for something that's more DP focused.

So let's hold judgement until we know if the monitor supports it? They also announced a 240Hz 5120*1440 monitor, I'd be shocked if there's no DCP in that or the sister models.
They would have put that into marketing if it was supported, as others have done before for their monitors. It's unlikely but either way bringing it up only informs people to look into it.
