Elite Dangerous Odyssey is coming in 2021 that will allow us to hope out of our spaceships and run around on foot. Basically ED is getting first person view!

Can't wait.

Might actually make me come back. Haven't played seriously since probably a few months after launch and a tiny bit with the scarab launch.

It does look good, and I posted on the Frontier forums that I suspect they have moved to a new engine for the game or made some major improvements to the existing one.

I am looking forward to it, but I am not getting my hopes up until I hear more about it.

Really really interesting article on Ryzen memory benchmarking.
Basically use 4 dimms if possible and use 1T for command rate will really boost performance.
What was interesting was out of all the configurations the 3200mhz 4dim(dual rank dimms) CL14 was the fastest memory configuration. Even beating 3600/3733/4000mhz speeds.

Yamaha why you gotta do me like this? Plastic oil draining bolt...

Snapped with barely any torque at all, which I suppose is understandable with a piece of plastic which has been in contact with oil since 1997...

Well, be quite hard if their SSD didn't die completely; also because my boss is a lady, haha.

I was terrified of messing up because it's a fairly brand new HP Envy 360, Ryzen 3500U and all that so a pretty expensive piece of kit. Which I had to use my Dremel on at one point but that's a whole other story haha. I've sorted it now though thankfully. I was absolutely on edge all the way through in case something went bang
