The royal had a little too much sparkle for my build, but I think the Neo will fit in nicely.

Damn, that Neo stuff got cheaper since I bought mine, LOL! I think I paid over $500CDN for that same kit a while back.

FredEx's new laptop

Been a long time since being on here. I got a new laptop. I was going to use a PayPal deal at 36 months at 0% and buy it on HP's site. They messed me over raising the price on a sale item, I went elsewhere and saved a lot of money and got the same thing exactly. I'm not through with HP, filed complaints, long story. I could only do a deal paying off on time. I have 24 months at 0%.

I love it. The sharpest display I have ever had and WOW it is fast. Boot up is just a few seconds. The fingerprint scanner is instantaneous. I run the BlueStacks Android Emulator on it for a couple of games and on the old laptop with an i5 it could take a minute to start and shut down the emulator. On the new system, it would start in 15 seconds and shut down after about 3 seconds. The emulator would not allow it to be set to use more than 4 GB. Editing the registry I set it to use 8 GB as a starting point. The set-up page still shows 4 GB, but now the emulator starts instantly and shuts down instantly. Apps run as fast as possible in it. I wrote to the author.
