Cooler Master launches their MasterFan SF120M

Would you pay $29.99 for a fan?

I did. For Noctua quality though. NFA12x25. Best fans I ever and that's coming from someone who used GT's before. These Noctua fans are so silent and create a wind tunnel

Scythe has been good for me, for much less money. Though I do have some prestigious baby poop in my machine in the form of NH-D15!

Not paying that sorta money for a ball bearing fan. They are out of their mind.

At least with Noctua, Nidec or Corsair ML fans for that matter the motors on them are a little bit special so they'll run more quieter.

They should of at least made them a hydro or FDB bearings.

Love the design aesthetic, but every coolermaster fan i've had the displeasure of owning of late - have the most Hideous bearing drone that is TOTALLY intolerable.

So now, I won't spend $30 a fan on fans made by coolermaster.

Lol.... have not seen CM fan that has been good so far, comparing to BeQuiet and Noctua. For 30€ then I would rather pay for Noctua.

One can be a competitor and still lose. Badly. For that same money, it's two Noctua consumer fans or one and some change left over for a Noctua Industrial.

Or three - Be an absolute cheapskate and can only afford the redux line of Noctua fans.

Which arent exactly terrible IMO. They perform extremely well.

Or you could buy Gentle Typhoons for half the money or less and have twice as many awesome fans that sound great, but just don't look as nice.
