I was in school when the original series came out. Probably one of my favorite platformers of all time.

Playing this I'm having a serious case of nostalgia, even down to the soundtrack.

This was only really for people who didn't buy a N64.

After having played Mario 64, DK64 and the Banjo games this seemed kinda, well, crap.

Platformers was not the PS's strong point.

Speak for yourself! Spyro was a staple of our household back in the late days of school for me.

I've given a few hours on it now and I'm enjoying it thus far. It runs great too, my monitor is maxed at 144FPS pretty much all the time at 1440p. I haven't tried it with VSync off yet though.

Thanks for the work on the benchmarks too, always good to get some idea of how games run before pulling the trigger on them - Not many sites do them.
