would this cpu cooler be effective?

i was wandering are cheap CPU coolers effective such as this one http://www.pccasegear.com/prod1110.htm in keeping temps down? or do only the more expensive ones work the best

It goes without saying that the more you pay for a HSF, the better it will be.

But as a general rule, most coolers made of copper will beat the stock coolers.

I would sell this to you @ £17 + P&P

I priced up that cooler and it would come to about $68. The swittech heatsink and excellent SilenX Fan combo are great for cooling and are rated to compete with a thermalritgh unit. This may be out of your pricerange....but the postage is quite a lot - its made out of copper and weighs 700g!

go wit what kempez is peddeling its has nearly the same performance as my si-97 and @ £17 go for it
