How big are those caps on the cables? they're surely not like 0.5cm in diameter or?

Same spec as the standard Corsair ones. We are just working on the performance / hidden balance.

Idea is the caps are behind the mobo tray

Great! We'd love to see your results. I'd be interested to find out if there is really a huge difference between the stock and CableMod's.
