I have all my leds off of one line however id run two lines 1 for tops and 1 for bottom so you have the option of two different colours, my case looked nice with white at the bottom and blue at the top. Even if your not considering that then it might save extentions if the mini is somewhere in the middle of the two.

I don't think that you can run two colors simultaneously with the Commander mini, due to there is only LED port so link SW will only recognize one LED strip.

two colors as an option would be nice though

Ah i thought the mini connected to the same lighting node i had with 2 separate lines, sorry nothing stopping you using two nodes
sad i had to solder all of mine so i had white light, due to the fact my lighting node died...
So rigged them on 12V and now have white light still nice light though.

You know what I haven't tried? connect the old lighting node to the new Commander mini. That actually might work so that you could have multiple color LEDs. I'll give a try and see how it goes.

I have 1 lighting node which has two outputs so im lucky really
