How about a Fractal Define R5 that's got to be about as close to the money and the breif as it gets. (You can get black ones). Or even save £10 and get an R4.

I think you've swayed me I've got a load of Phobya silent fans so i'll run them at 7V with some nice white leds, should pick out the red highlights on the gpu, mb, fans ect nicely

I run the stock fans on 7 volts and that works just fine, but yeah if you have a couple of fans laying around, why not.

Now THAT is a good call... Any suggestions on soundproofing? Noise is a big factor for me

It doesnt have sound proofing like the h440 or fractal R5, but with slow speed fans you should be able to get close to a silent rig anyways. Keep in mind though, the cpu or gpu fan could still make quite a bit of noise when gaming.

I think fractal need to bring out a Node 904 or something along those lines that would have been my recommendation if it existed! I think corsair missed a trick with the Air series of cases, if they had a brushed aluminum front and were dual width so you could get the H series coolers in the second side like my case they would be great. But the cheap ty plastic just looks rancid.

I know it doesn't have any at the moment I meant do you have any experience with the soundproofing 'kits' you can get?

Agreed Love fractal stuff but there's always one glaring fault that stops me buying :/
