With a little ingenuity you can solve this problem.
I personally do not like LEDs on expensive things, as they are most likely component to die long before everything else goes down. That in itself is frustrating, let alone crappy support from alot of manufacturers that you have to bear with for sometimes very long period of time. And even if service provided is of high quality, that still leaves you without a keyboard for a few days.
But then again I never was a huge fan of things with unnecessary bling bling.

oh, it really depends on your setup.
There are LED stripes that make fine light sources, especially if your keyboard sits neatly on a shelf. Or something as simple as led spot lights that you can buy in ikea for dirt cheap. For me it is much more convenient as its very easy to fix should anything go wrong. Without having to rely on any company.

Now that you mention it LED strips would be quite handy, Thanks for the advice

Sorry for the bad luck mate.. Had the same thing happen to be with my k90 about 2 months after I got it. I rma'd it and got the same message as you did. I was stuck using a crappy compaq keyboard from and old computer I had gotten ages ago. But I just held in there and corsair delivered. I have not had any problems since then. If I was you, I would possibly contact maybe or just hold on a little while longer. If you can't there's always logitech. Heard good things about their keyboards. ( I have only used there wireless gaming mice)

To avoid future inevitable Corsair LED death and death in general just go with Ducky, Sell your replacement when you get it and put the funds towards the Ducky, It's what I did.

It's pretty much indestructible and it's no good waiting for their RGB lineup as apparently a certain reviewer got a sample and there were dead LED's on it.

Heathen...

They are out of stock at the moment but they are very popular due to their rugged nature, Stock is replenished quickly -

tbh the thing that really pi**es me off is they know which retailer has them in stock so why can't they send out E-vouchers or people but the new item then send them the invoice and they refund the person on said item?
