thx JR! I will wait for DDR4 and buy a 64GB kit towards the end of the year. Makes little sense to spend 300+ on aesthetics especially since I also need a new GPU (670 atm).
Thx for all replies!

DDR4 will need a new mobo and CPU too. Youve basically just specc'd a £2000 GBP upgrade

you're right, 64 may be too much. 32 is fine most of the time. So 400 for the ram, 400 for the board and 700 for the cpu...1500EUR sounds more reasonable than 2400 ^^
Now what can I get for my Sabertooth, vengeance lp and a 4770k? 800EUR? I don't have a clue.

WTH?! I can get 200+ for my old gtx 670 and only 240 for a 10 months old 4770k. 200 for the board, 60 for the X-Fi Forte, 275 for the ram, 100 for the HX1000....so about 1000-1200 in total. That leaves me with about 300 plus a new GPU.... damn why did i ever get into PCs :-/

@SuB, what's so bad about it?

Did read them, couldn't find anything on the topic. Maybe I am just blind. Sorry about that, don't mean to start any trouble.
