Yes, that is correct. The pump/cooler will serve the same function like the PSU dongle, the one that is marked "Corsair Link Digital".

This is still being discussed if are going to sell just LED strip with out the lighting node.. so I really don't know if this is going to happen or not at this point, but once I get an answer, I'll let you guys know.

That's a great idea, it'll give your room some sort of mood change every time LED color changes. I'll probably take it to the next level and run them around underneath my desk... it'd probably give the illusion that your desk is part of your PC hehe

Hi Grey beard,
I have the h100i connected as you said , the cable from the psu to the block and the usb cable from the block to a usb port on the mb. I deleted my corsair link profile and uninstalled corsair link , also deleted temp files. Rebooted then installed the new corsair link version 2.4.4948. It's all working fine , h100i shows in CL , I can control the psu fan , but still doesn't show the psu temp.
I double checked all connections just to make sure.
Any idea why the psu temp won't show?

What about under Options tab > Devices in CL, do you see the PSU there at all? It's just odd to see the PSU fan detected but not the temp. Typically, if the fan is not detected, chances are the temp will also not be detected.

Try to stop CL then unplug the link cable connected on the pump and then plug it back in while the system is running.

The PSU cable connected to the pump, unplug it and plug it back in and see if that will trigger the sensor.

Excalibur - Try restarting your system or try playing around with the LED sliders and see if you can get the color your prefer.
