The biggest reason why NOT to buy fans that are over 50db....

Simply because a single 50+ db fan is one loud motherer....

Listen to this Delta EHE 80mm fan (5700rpm, 80.2cfm) - http://www.fragtek.com/downloads/delta80fan.mp3

Tell me that wouldnt be annoying as ? Not to mention they have fans now that are even louder than this sucker, I feel sorry for all who buy fans this loud :bootyshak

50db at 80mm is much higher pitched and technically louder than 50dba at 120mm

Actually.... TECHINICALLY they're exactly the same if they're both 50db, lol... The pitch may be different, but as far as loudness goes, they're both the same if they're both 50db.. duh!
