I wouldn't say I hate Thermaltacky, mostly because I have a Thermaltake TR2 430w PSU that I got some time ago and it's still running strong to this day with zero problems, but I have to agree with the general perception here. Their cases are of poor quality and construction from my experience.

On another note, I also had a TT TR2 CPU Air Cooler from a while back on an AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+. I was never able to dial the clock up on it because the cooler was so that it could barely maintain the temps on idle. (And we're talking a very minimal overclock)

Thermaltake dont make psu's thay put stickers on oem's like a lot of other 'makers' its made by CWT (pretty much the same as the CX 430w)
CWT are better known for makeing power bricks for craptop's and being cheap with its components.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a great PSU because, quite frankly, it's not. But it does the job and doesn't give me any issues.

I've never used their products because I just think they look ugly.

My Corsair HX 850 (V1) is CWT, been running virtually 24/7 for 4 and half years, has also powered GTX 480 sli, silent and no coil whine issues. This was before Corsair moved over to Seasonic and now Flextronics for their high end stuff.

Back on topic though, I can't say Thermaltake cases appeal to me, but somebody is still buying their stuff so whatever really.

Not that I have any hate for TT, nor that I like them either, but Coolermaster cases are just as cheap and ugly looking as some of TT's.
Fair enough some of TT's cases are basically clones of Coolermaster's, well not clones but OEM designs of the exact same case, but they both still look cheap and ugly.

Sadly you are right . Coolermaster have really let themselves go recently. I have to say thermaltake also use enermax's designs for some of their cases

Basically what ever they make there is a better product better made for the same price.

Thermaltake are RENOWNED in the industry for going round shows finding new designs and or products then pushing their own ripped off versions out quicker.

Look back at how many Tt products 'look just like that'

IMHO Tt is a n0000b badge or an L plate. You wear your badge while you realise youve just bought the Halfords chavvy version and you could have bought something better for the same money or less.

ye.
Cmstorm is basically their MLGXXPROGAMER brand/premium gaming brand. It seems like Cm put all of their existing talent into CmStorm.

Personally the only cm case I currently like (bar my XB ) is their cheap as chips N200. Mainly because it can support a 240 rad in the front and looks quite subtle.
