Looking at upgrading from a GTX 1080

Hi all

I would like some advice on upgrading my graphics card from a GTX 1080. I have about £1000 budget.

Resolution I play games at is 2560x1440p .

Any help would be greatly received as i've been out of the loop as of late.

Well going by all current information the next series of cards is at least 4-6 months away.

For £1000 I'd get a 2080 Super Strix OC for £800 then you still have £200 for other stuff like more storage etc...

RTX 2080 Super is the best you'll get under $1000.

I upgraded my 1080 to a 5700XT I can can say I've noticed a performance uplift and I'm gaming at 3440x1440 something to consider if you don't want to go Nvidia

2070 Super or 2080 Super.

Or, cheap 2080. I'd deffo wait for black Friday.

The 2070 just saw a big price drop so I reckon the 60 70 and 80 non super could well come up cheap on BF.
