Activision releases 6 minutes of raw 4K Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gameplay

it's only 6 minutes because that's when the in game store pops up asking if you want to buy the red dot for £5 or the rest of the nice things we took out so we could milk more £££ out of you

This is just silly though. Raw 4k isn't even what we will be looking at in game. In game footage is what I want to see not rendered footage

That is in game footage, not rendered footage. It was gameplay captured on the ps4 Pro at 4k (with upscaling technically?) :P

I for one won't buy another COD game until I watch a lot of reviews as I've got both BO4 and WW2 and both are good games but neither pulls me back into wanting to play them for a few hours like Division 2 does with friends, just...idk maybe I'm losing my competitive FPS mindset finally.

Or I'm waiting on my Bad Company / BF4 styled FPS from DICE rather then this nonsense of BF1/BF5 with no attachments like we all want, sorry I don't wanna grind for weapon skins that are all the same on different guns that all unlock in the same order basically.

The video does make the graphics look better than the usual from COD games.

For me the ability to actually play the game is the main thing, performance needs to be spot on and a decent anti cheat system.

The micro transactions though will be what stops this game from being bought if they go the same route as the last couple.

I will be buying this as I want to play the campaign, as it seems like it might be a decent one.

BF4 was a mess for attachments and guns imo, far too many similar items, balancing meant all the guns fit into a few clear groups after a bit and the attachments did little. I preferred BF3's assortment overall but would take BF1/BFVs approach over BF4s any day, the attachment loadouts were sensible and you could still tweak them enough to fit most play styles, while the perks and gun assignments were great, much more fun to unlock than the kill grind of pre-DLC content of the past games.

Wonder how this will scale with Ray Tracing ?

Looks stunning to be fair :) I am currently running the reg fix to get my 2080 working with Ray Tracing on 1080p - working ok to be honest.

Activision has always pulled it out of the bag. The gun play and graphics look great!

Well done Activision :)
