Same. There is so much old content I want to do. But nightfalls etc too. Its nice to come back to the game. Division 2 became as stale as Anthem!

Switching to Intel from the 3900X REALLY shot my frames up in D2, Quite impressed, Same settings, Same 1080P res, Same memory, Same GPU, Same location, Same character, Same items/armor/weapon equipped etc... FPS in the top right of each pic.

Before my AMD mobo went pop I did repeat these tests multiple times, Clean driver install, Up to date mobo drivers etc...

Some games really do favor 1 vendor over the other.

That sort of performance drop is what is what would stop me from buying AMD for my next cpu, for my gaming pc because it's mainly Destiny 2 and The Division 2 that I play on my pc.

I wonder though if that performance drop is in part way down to the issues they had with the 3000 series cpu's when they launched, is it like that in other games or is D2 an outlier?

I wonder why the difference in GPU usage. That would explain the fps jump. Your Intel system is at ~90% GPU whereas the AMD system is at ~50%.

Well in general in gaming the 9900K is still top, Some games it's 10FPs some games it's A LOT more, I think it just comes down to the fact that a lot of games are still coded on Intel machines FOR Intel machines.

Even my 2700X performed quite bad in Destiny 2 compared to the competition.

The low GPU usage is due to it being CPU bound i.e 1080P, If I was playing at 1440P it would likely be a much smaller gap.

Ah, missed that part. Are you playing at 1080P to run at a higher refresh rate? All the early benches showed 1080P was where Intel pulled ahead. Seems so backwards though running that resolution.
