Is this a TWIMTBP title by any chance?
If the specs were leaked by another tech site I'd agree, but it's from the developers so no messing around and gospel. Although I'm pretty sure the minimum specs will be quite low, given that it's also being released on 360 & PS3.

Recommended PC System Specifications

64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8
i7 with four plus cores
4 GBs RAM
50 GB of hard drive space*
GeForce GTX 670 or equivalent with 4GBs of VRAM
High Speed Internet Connection
Steam account and activation

*It’s worth noting that the 50 GB of space required is for the PC install. When the installation is complete, the game will take up ~41 GB of HDD space.
Well that was weird, usually I hate horror games (mainly because I'm a big wimp when it comes to tension) but I'm intrigued by this one.

Step aside Evil Within with your measly 4GB of Vram needed, behold Shadow of Mordor with its 6GB of Vram needed for Ultra settings

Is the competition? Give me 10 mins and I'll write a game that requires 100GB VRAM

EDIT: Also just preordered that today from cdkeys after Polygon's review.

It seems like games are trying to compete with Vram lately, we have Watch Dogs that uses 3.5GB+, Titan Fall that uses around the same and Rise Son of Rome PC version coming soon also recommends 4GB IIRC.

Surely the High Vram usage is due to the new consoles sharing Vram/ram?
ehhhh, suddenly my 780Ti feels inadequate .

Deepcool Captain CPU cooler ( nice name )

I just popped over onto MNPCtech, for a nose and came across a link to a very interesting looking AIO cooler. It is very much like the RAIJINTEK TRITON that is soon to be released, only this looks to have a bit more bling. It has 2 seperate chambers, for the pump, and cold plate, and even better it comes in a 360 version.

That looks much better than the Ranjintek Trition in my opinion, plus there is a 360 version.

Lol, you might just need to if VRAM usage keeps getting higher

I have a feeling that you will still be ok with 3-4GB and they are just over exaggerating the VRAM usage. 6GB sounds a bit unrealistic to be honest, either that or the game is badly optimized.
