Those videos are perfect example of paid, transparent, and pointless reviews. That is why i like OC3D. Tom is a bit crazy and speaks his mind, and gets bent over for his big mouth rather than money. But i hope manufacturers are respecting that. Obviously i always watch more different reviews, but from my hefty experience with hardware i truly believe this is the best place to get honest review, and recommendation. And the people on forums are epic. This one is slowly becoming the only forum i am actively engaged in.

Epic job OC3D team, and thumbs up for forum members.

It's why I'm here; Tom's reviews and style, site content and last but certainly not least, the forum community! I ran 99% of my purchases through here before the final decision. Wish I had more time to be more useful and active in here but I don't so I have to pick my threads.

Yea. But it reduces costs significantly. And all other AIOs on the market are aluminium. Copper is better but, there is limited performance that you can push out of the AIO unit. And it gets hard to sell more expensive unit to an average customer that just wants to fit and forget. Especially when there is so much product on the market. Copper is kinda reserved for custom water loops, and for us enthusiasts that want to overclock to the rugged edge. I would like to see copper too, but i understand Fractal.

It would be epic if they would release just the pump, and hoses so you can fit any rad you want. Wow. I just had brain storm. That would be an epic idea. Are you reading this Fractal???

EKWB its current AIOs are eol and when I spoke to them yesterday they told me their new line will launch early/mid Q3. Price wise their products are a bit more expensive and that's why it seems less popular to me? I mean, I see more Corsair, Fractal and NZXT units out in the world.

It gets hilarious when you realize it. Also they had EVGA custom backplate from some firm next to ROG plate on their desk during the whole video. Also he didn't even know about AUTO/PWM turning thingy, tested with AUTO on, put those values in charts, like it doesn't matter, it is garbage anyway. And he is kinda reviewing every product in same conditions. And trough the whole video he had "this is garbage cooler" attitude, when in the reality it is the same one Asetek unit as the rest. Take them with a bag of salt.

Edit: Jay also commended Fractal for putting shorter cables on fans so you can tidy them better.
Edit: And somehow from all those pretty much the same units "EVGA CLC280 is the cooler that gives Fractal the real trouble" (quote from the video)
Yup and therein lies the problem. They are all paid by their master, so who can you truly trust?

It's kind of ironic, 'cause one of Nexus's videos is Buildzoid doing a teardown on the EVGA and saying how it's completely over engineered for the voltage you can actually put through the core.

I don't like Nexus any way. That hairy bloke is about as ham fisted and messy as it gets. His teardown of the NZXT cooler made me cringe. He cut through a connecting wire when all he had to do was unscrew the bottom PCB. It was like two screws.

Then moved onto mangling every screw in the block.. Jesus, mercy.. I had to stop there.

Yea. With their starter watercooling kits so affordable it kinda breaks the point of buying EK AIO at that price. Water cooling is expensive. But if i would go that way i would rather buy starter kit, then upgrade that with gpu block and another rad, rather than going with EK AIO and then upgrade that. It would be a mess.

Agreed! And their new line will again focus on optional expandability (I dislike the QDC, looks ugly), they told me. Nice kits, sure, but similar or better gains can be had with cheaper and often better looking brands.

Yep, I have the Kelvin S36 too and I was thinking the same. It's a shame they went from full copper to alluminium.

The problem here is that I'm in love with that pump aesthetic and cable manegement design. I wonder if it's possibile to combine the good bits of the Celsius with the good bits of the Kelvin. That might actually be a nice project and I can feel my hands itching :P

If you already have Kelvin S36 use copper rad, buy Celsius S24 use the pump and hose. It would be tricky for filling but if you put one T splitter you can get away with it.
