So I am 90% finished with this build. Here is a break down of the current components:

Case: Xigmatek Elysium

CPU: Intel LGA2011 3930k

CPU Cooling: Corsair H100

Motherboard: Asus P9X79 Deluxe

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4x8G 1866 RAM

Video/Graphics: ATI FirePro V5900

Storage: (1) Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD (O.S., Adobe & CAD programs only); (1) Kingston HyperX 120GB SSD cached with 2TB WD Cav Black HDD

Power: Corsair AX1200

Optical Drive: (1) ASUS BD/DVD/CD burner

- I have a 2TB WD Cavier Black with a 120GB SSD cached to it for storage.

- I made a few custom brackets to mount the H100 vertically on the floor of the case so that it would reach and could still use (3)140MM fans in the top side of the case.

- There are (4) 140mm fans (7) 120mm fans (1) is in the back panel blowing on the back side of the CPU) and (1) 200mm fan installed.

- I also have a small 250GB WD HDD installed just for a back up image drive in the event that I have to do a clean re-install or repair.

Any comments are welcomed and thanks for the input.

Yeah, I made the mounts. They're basic 1/8" x 1/4" thick Aluminum flat stock that I measured, drilled, bent/broke & painted. I measured it so that I could use the existing 120mm fan mounting holes that were in the bottom of the floor pan.

I wish the "vertical mount" Idea were original to me, but I have be honest, I saw a video on youtube where a guy used the vertical mount a build in a Corsair 600T case (
). As for the idea of how to put it into the Elysium. Yeah I came up with that, but alas I got the vertical Idea from the video.

You are correct, I don't have much in there at the moment, I am going to end up with more RAM and RAM cooling fans on the kit as soon as funds allow. I also was "originally" going to order an SR-2 with dual Xeons, but alas the new 2011' released literally the day I was about to break loose and start buying gear. Thus... I took that route. I hope to also integrate some nice good quality water cooling once I get the money and this case should more than give me great room for that. So I guess you could say I'm trying to plan ahead and be flexible on the case so that I have room to expand and play in the future. Thanks for the comment and for checking it out.

Plus... I have to say this case is HUGE and anything short of the SR-2 is going to look dwarfed in there. lol
