8700 and Z370 affected?
Hey,
Was just wondering if Intel’s latest series of CPUs and motherboards are affected with all of these security stuff, Spectre etc?...
Also does anyone know if the 8700 and 8700K are soldered or still using toothpaste?...

Yes. Intel say they will launch a new CPU next year.
Tooth paste. What did you expect lol? yeah, all non business CPUs are pasted.

Zen APU are not, but it wouldn't make much difference....

What I mean is you won't get much better overclocks if you delidded. The APU is limited by other factors, whereas Intel CPUs are not, and delidding always gains cooler temps and usually better clocks.
