For my i7-980X in order to utilize all 12 "cores", I know they're threads but it says cores, I used the flags: -verbosity 9 -bigadv -smp 12 and with 8000 for the memory otherwise I was getting system lockups.

I said yes to 'Set -advmethods flag always, requesting new advanced

scientific cores and/or work units if available (no/yes)?'

Try to get 2685, but since it's luck of the draw mostly the -bigadv project that starts you out is 2684.

With bonus points for finishing within the deadline, that's a huge PPD.

Oh, and get yourself a great heatsink or watercool. You'll need it.

I kept on getting stuck with 2684, and was getting only around 50:15 TPF, so I cut it.

PPD calculation - [email protected] SMP2 Bonus Point Calculator

That and I'm waiting patiently for a certain company to send me another heatsink.

Charlie you may want to put a note about team 98860. New folders might not know what to put here

I'm not quite sure what you mean mate ..

But -advmethods is a flag that is for "new advanced scientific cores" so PPD can be very different.

The top 2 results are BigAdv and Advmethods.
