I'd rather learn German from English than the other way around. At least spelling, grammar, and pronunciation are consistent in German. I also really like how many German words are just similar words with prefixes or suffixes, everything ties in nicely

english is way easier than german, german is very complex. for essays german is the better language though, it offers so many more possibilities to express yourself in a fancy way
