You're comparing non-OC'd results to OC'd, it's 69c (red devil) vs 73c (reference) OC'd or 64c vs 68c stock, while the Red Devil's clocks are higher in both comparisons I think.

That something being those reference temperatures. I'd love to know what fan speed and ambient temps OC3D had to get those results considering every single other reputable reviewer noted that the stock cooler is not fit for purpose and the card runs hot as hell.
