Once you've finished watching Chernobyl, watch 'The Battle of Chernobyl' documentary on YouTube. It's absolutely excellent in summarizing what happened during the cleanup.

I can and will say that -having been to Chernobyl and Pripyat myself- the zone of alienation feels like another world. Pripyat being the most distinctive since you can stand on Lenin square and it will be stone dead silent except for the bushes and trees rustling in the wind. To me, Pripyat felt like an omen; not for the dangers of nuclear energy, but this will be the legacy mankind will leave behind if we carry on the course that we are doing.

Honestly, if you have any remote interest in stuff like this, I implore you to go. It is certainly an experience that you won't forget anytime soon.

Which one dude? There's about six on YouTube and they're all different.

I'd love to go there but I don't fly. So that kinda hinders me.

Thankfully there are silent places here so I can escape. Would love to go there though.

Of course I start feeling sick right when the hardest part of my schooling starts today.. I can't catch a break with my physical health lately. I'm rarely sick or ever physically hurt. Since school started it's just been one thing after another..

Might be lack of sleep and stress levels are high now that I think about it..

lack of sleep and lack of relaxation. Destroys your immuno system. Could also be that constant studying results in you binging on bad food. So your body isnt getting what it needs.

Could go on train, but would take you a while to get there haha. Ignore the subtitles, all of the audio is in English anyway:
