Hiya!

Just registered today and want to show you a little project Im working on, its actually pretty finished, new motherboard and changing to only 2.5" disks will be the last thing. However, this all started as a side project to my other build Cold Winter, but turned out to be pretty fun and took a lot of time. Its a simple HTPC but with a special design.

Hardware that I build the case around:
Asus AT3IonT-I Deluxe
Intel X-25-V G2 40gb
4gb Corsair DDR3
Western Digital Green 2TB & 3TB

I have a Asus E45M1-I Deluxe on the way thats gonna be powered with a picopsu instead.

I also want to thank my sponsors.

LCDModkit.com & Aquatuning.se

I got the idea for this build when I was looking at some of the acrylic I had left from Cold Winter. Saw some nice shape coming. So I started cutting, and got these two acrylic pieces:

I got some nice hifi-looking feet and some hinges to put the two pieces together.

Then I made a front and backplate and powdercoated them white. Installed a LCD and a simple power switch.

Installed a simple Intel Atom motherboard with 4gb ram and a lot of harddrive space.

Installed a intake 100mm fan under the motherboard.

And here is some overview pictures, its almost finished here. But as I said Im getting some newer hardware.

With kind regards

Looks very nice, quite slick! If I couldn't see through the acrylic I wouldn't guess that it's a pc in there.

that is really nice. id buy that, or at least id want to buy it if I saw it in a store, regardless of if it was a pc or not.

I think its missing something on those front and back panels though, maybe badge it with a 'brand name' or a logo. That being said, its really nice and that idea may ruin it. Either way, nice build. Have you posted your other build yet?

I actually try to sell it at a certain time, but I changed my mind. Put to much work on it. Im not good at making logos and so on, and at the same time I like keeping the build minimalistic and elegant.

I can never really finish a build, like many others I think. Anyway, I sold the harddrives I was using in this build before, got a 1TB 2.5" instead and a Corsair Force SSD. Also a Asus E45M1-I Deluxe is coming as I said. So some hardware upgrades is going on here.

When changing to only 2.5" disks I wanted to make a harddrive bay. Here it is!

I drew up some different designs but I went with this one, measured out and cut with a jigsaw. What about some white paint on these?

And this is how it looks in the case:

What do you think?
